Bayu Airtek Sdn Bhd is an Air-Conditioning and Refrigeration company focusing on Energy Efficiency and Green Building suatainability., which currently employs some 20 employees, including sales team, commissioning and service technicians, Established in April 2014, Bayu Airtek Sdn.Bhd. has the experience and expertise to successfully complete all types of commercial and industrial projects.
In support of the government go-green campaign, MyHijau, Bayu Airtek Shd.Bhd actively promotes and supply revolutionary green technology equipment i.e high efficiency magnetic bearing centrifugal chiller, water pumps, cooling towers and water conditioners especially to critical environment building like hospitals and data centres.
Actively participating in industry training programs both local and overseas as part of its ongoing policy of staff training and development of Bayu Airtek Sdn.Bhd. MyHijau Mark- Green Recognition
MyHijau Mark is an official green recognition endorsed by the government of Malaysia. It is an initiative embarked by Malaysian Green Technology Corporation (GreenTech Malaysia) to promote the sourcing and purchasing of green products and services in Malaysia. Its aim is to encourage the adoption of environmentally friendly practices in the country while catalyzing the growth of Malaysian’s green economy.

NUPI
Nupi Industrie Italiane SpA takes over in October 2015 from the now well-known Nupigeco SpA Nupigeco SpA was born on 1 October 2008 from the merger of NUPI SpA and GECO System SpA, both founded more than 45 years ago, to form a single large company.
The NUPI – NIRON brand identifies a Random Copolymer Polypropylene (PP-RCT) pipe and fitting system produced by Nupi Americas, manufactured to ASTM F2389 and CSA B137.11 standards.
NIRON is a piping system used for all kinds of water applications including hot and cold potable water applications, hydronic heating applications, and both chilled water and cooling tower circulation pipes. The system can be used for large multi-family residential buildings, hotels, hospitals, data centres, malls, churches, schools, gymnasiums, cruise liners, firefighting and merchant ships. The NIRON system is also used in industrial installations for the conveyance of compressed air and several commonly used chemical substances.
GAINA
“Gaina” is a product created by applying Japanese space rocket development technology. That technology is implemented by applying layers of paint at the Space rockets Tips. Japan Aerospace eXploration Agency (JAXA) has developed insulation technology to be applied on its space rockets Protecting the Satellite inside the Head of the rocket as well as protecting the aircraft and its Cargo from heat during launch when developing its H-II rocket. this insulation technology is lightweight and has excellent work-ability procedure plus excellent heat control ability.
Thermal Insulation or outstation research has continued and Improved by JAXA as its own thermal insulation paint. This thermal insulation technology, which JAXA has been developing to cope with a wider temperature range, a heat-insulating ceramic called: GAINA.
NURU LOW-E
Nuru Low-E is glass coating insulation material which is not just able to inhibit heat penetration from the sun but it’s also capable of perfectly protecting UV radiation through the glass just by coating inside the building.
Proven to be utmost beneficial for industries such as Hospitals, Data centres, Hotels, Buildings in general, Manufacturing, Factories and Process cooling by reducing their sensible heat and ultimately the heat load itself.

News Straight Time Press Bangsar 2014
With an initial trial on a 100RT SMARDT water cooled chiller in 2014, NSTP chose SMARDT once again in 2016 for their chiller replacement works, adopting a 420RT SMARDT Chiller. NSTP is rated as an efficient Office Building with 0.71 kW/RT as an overall efficiency rating.

Replacement of 2 conventional chillers to SMARDT chillers come with water pump set resulted to 46% kW drop in Chiller Plant Energy Consumption, 26% drop in total building Energy Cost (TNB).
2 of 7Sg.Siput Government Hospital 2016
A total redesign of the Chiller Plant from an Air-Cooled design to a Water-Cooled design.
2 nos 280RT SMARDT Chiller was installed replacing the 2 nos 200RT Air Cooled Chillers.
Total Chiller Plant Efficiency recorded at 0.54 kW/RT. A Gold Mark status achieved in 2018.

Being the first data centre in Malaysia, AIMS was rapidly expanding since 2016 and started their expansion/upgrade in 2017. With the redesign of the existing Air Cooled chiller plant to 3 nos SMARDT Chillers water cooled, AIMS managed to reduce 66% energy consumption to the Chiller Plant alone, 33% reduction on total building energy cost.

Equatorial KL had major works on their facility whereby they demolished the old building and rebuilt a totally new facility. Due to success of SMARDT Chillers in other Equatorial Hotels globally, SMARDT Chillers were selected for the New Equatorial Hotel Plaza KL too. 3 nos 550RT SMARDT Chillers and 3 nos 600RT SMARDT Chillers.

A 5-year Performance Guarantee Project with a requirement of 0.62 kW/RT. Suppliers and Principles both signed a contract of 5 years to maintain not exceeding 0.62 kW/RT monthly. Should it exceed the given efficiency, a penalty is to be paid by the said contractor, supplier, and principle. 2 years in now, an efficiency of 0.601 kW/RT to 0.62 kW/RT maintained each month.

Due to the expansion of Kellogg’s production line, another chiller was to be installed to support the increased heat load profile. Due to the success of SMARDT Chiller implementation in Kelloggs factories in neighbouring countries such as Thailand and Philippines, Kelloggs upper management selected SMARDT for this project too.
